This review posted in the British Journal of Clinical Pharmacology notes that CBD seems to block cancer cells from spreading throughout a patient’s body, as well as suppressing their growth and may cause the death of these cells. Additional studies have shown equally promising results in breast cancer patients, lung cancer, colon cancer, gliomas and leukemia patients.
Type 1 Diabetes
Clinical Hemorheology and Microcirculation has posted research that found that CBD might ease inflammation of the pancreas in patients who have Type 1 Diabetes. The American Journal of Medicine has found that marijuana use is associated with reduced levels of baseline insulin and a lower waist/hip ratio. Both of these are factors connected to the onset of diabetes symptoms.
